I'm Parker CEO of Sunstate Armory welcome to our website. In Early 2020 I separated from the United States Navy after 10 years of active duty. During my time on active duty, I fell in love with the sport of recreational shooting. When I left the Navy I wasn't sure about where life would take me or where I was going to live. I found work fast in the semiconductor industry. During the pandemic, I was spending a lot of time at home with my family dreaming of something more.
My best friend, pulled me aside one day and told me that I needed to get out and do something that I loved. That week SunState Armory was born. We had planned to be a retail gun store and manufacturer. At the height of the pandemic, my dreams were slowly becoming a reality.
We leased a location in Scottsdale, Arizona, and began trying to purchase inventory. This is When I met a police officer from Phoenix Police Department. After becoming fast friends I sponsored his rowing team to help officers stay fit during the winter months. Shortly after a police officer was killed in the line of duty with the Chandler Police department. Stricken by this I posed the question How long does it take forensics to come up with a suspect?
After learning the answer I thought to myself can I do better? The answer is yes.
After discussing my Idea with software developers and close friends I set in motion a chain of events I call the Blockchain of Custody. Doing research I found that many manufacturers already use a simple practice that works similarly but is usually only reserved for special clients like the government. Using the same style and method of inventory control of Arms and Ammunition used by the military is outdated, but highly secure and only useful in certain situations. If government munitions are lost or stolen they can track them back to their associated inventory number and do a manual lookup upon return.
This process is lengthy and costly and because of its availability to select clients would be ineffective to general consumers. I found a way. With the help of many friends and the dissemination of public data. I was able to bring this process to the general consumer and general public.
America is a country founded on freedoms and I personally believe that all citizens should be afforded better quality and care that the federal government receives from current munitions manufacturers.
I'm happy to announce CryptoCasings built on the same principles of traditional arms and munitions inventory handling, We are now able to let technology and innovation take the reins, and guide us to a brighter future.
Gone are the days where a mother or father wonders who harmed their child for weeks or days, law enforcement can now instantly create a suspect list and possibly even serve a warrant without taking any data from a consumer. Officers can rest easy knowing that they helped their community and solved crimes using our method.
I don't know what the future holds, I can't predict how well our method will be without more research and development. But rest assured, Everyone at SunState wants you to be free. Free to live in a world where justice can be served overnight, Free knowing that someone somewhere has your best interest at heart. I'm proud to say that with the release of our product in the coming months we plan serve our community better in more innovative ways.
